Our story begins in a crowded Western New York apartment, where discipline, faith, and sports turned obstacles into opportunity. Terrance McDuffie watched his own son, a freshman phenom in a stacked WNY football era, get overlooked despite elite production and talent. That painful lesson shaped our mission. We use our multigenerational Division I and NFL pedigree to give young athletes real recruiting guidance, meaningful college exposure, and the mentorship families deserve.
We build everything on the BELEEDAT standard, Being Engaged, Leaving Everyone Enlightened, Determined And Trained-up. That means we stay present with every athlete, tell the truth about where they stand, and link hard work to real opportunities in athlete recruiting, highlight reels, and sports showcases. Integrity, inclusion, and community impact guide each clinic, camp, and fundraiser so that development, not hype, drives every training plan and every Bean on a Mission campaign.
Parents, coaches, and organizers deserve partners who will answer hard questions, explain recruiting timelines, and stand beside them during big decisions. We invite you to explore our FAQs, schedule a free consultation, and ask how our recruiting guidance, athlete mentorship, and fundraising solutions can support your program. Together, we can turn hard stories of being overlooked into new stories of youth development, elite training access, and college exposure that lasts.
We mentor athletes for life, not only for the next season.
We give honest evaluations and transparent recruiting.
Fundraising that strengthens families and neighborhoods.
As Founder and CEO, Terrance McDuffie brings a lifetime in sports and a multigenerational Division I and NFL legacy to every decision we make. Growing up in a Western New York project apartment and later guiding his own son through painful recruiting setbacks, he saw exactly how easily even elite talent can be missed. That experience shaped 1st Look Sports into a national platform focused on athlete recruiting, honest guidance, and real college exposure. Terrance draws on decades of relationships with college coaches, scouts, and trainers to create showcases, highlight reel strategies, and athlete mentorship that deliver practical results. His commitment to youth development and community impact anchors our BELEEDAT standard so families, coaches, and organizations know they have a partner who understands both the stakes and the sacrifices behind every dream.
As CFO, Chris McDuffie combines high-level athletic experience with strong academic and administrative credentials to help guide 1st Look Sports forward. A standout at Williamsville North, Chris produced over 4,000 rushing yards, competed in multiple sports, and earned a full football scholarship to the University at Buffalo before an injury shifted his path. He completed his degree at UB, then added a master's and Administrator certification at Canisius College, building the financial and organizational skills he uses today. Chris oversees our growth strategy, fundraising solutions, and operational systems so that every Bean on a Mission campaign, showcase, and training initiative runs with discipline and transparency. His leadership ensures that our work in athlete recruiting, community fundraising, and youth development stays sustainable, accountable, and focused on long-term opportunity for families.
